Retitled Daughter of Dracula to avoid confusion with Lambert Hillyer’s 1936 film Dracula’s Daughter, Jess Franco’s classic tale of vampyric murder and lesbianism loosely based on Sheridan le Fenu’s short story Carmilla, is finally getting the blu-ray treatment. Remastered from the original negative, with its original titles, Dracula’s Daughter maintains Franco’s unnerving mix of dream-like otherworldliness with full-on filth. A must-have for Franco and exploitation fans alike.

Released on October 25th.
