Faustine (1990) is a short film interpretation of the poem Faustine written by the great Victorian poet, Algernon Swinburne. Directed by Nigel WIngrove and made just a year after Visions of Ecstasy (1989) was banned, Faustine is finally to be released.
Mastered from the original 16mm negative in High Definition, with a brand new musical score by Steven Severin and featuring Elieen Daly, Faustine is one of a number of unique and exciting extras that will be included on the new US Blu-ray release of Visions of Ecstasy. Out through Redemption / Kino Lorber October 23rd.
