Hurt is a profoundly disquieting take on the serial killer theme.
Reminiscent of Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer, the film centers
on Michael and his two friends who hire young women to make
porn films for them, and then kill them on camera.
The trio become intoxicated with their sense of power and start
to view their ‘work’ as art. Wanting recognition, they show the
tapes to an ambitious TV reporter. As the death scenes play,
Michael’s interview overlays the harrowing imagery, drawing
you deep inside the mind of a killer...
