Two juvenile detention officers have the unenviable task of taking a group of bad-ass urban street kids out of the ghetto and into the wilderness to renovate a shelter for wayward teens as payment for their crimes. Along the way, their engine blows in the middle of nowhere. No cell phones. No gas stations. No hope. When one of the kids is shot by a redneck local while trying to find a phone, the group seeks shelter in the remote house of a mysterious voodoo priestess named Kadja.
Two kids fool around with some of her ancient voodoo in an effort to save their dying friend... and mistakenly bring the urban legend known as killjoy to their door! They may think the woods are unfriendly, but killjoy is about to make them all wish they were back in their own hood...
