Shot and printed in 1993, these are the last remaining copies from a print run approximately 500. This card set features b/w photographic images of blood, nudity and dark erotica all conceived by Redemption Film's founder and owner Nigel Wingrove.
There are three specific themes, each of four related images, in the set. Firstly; 'Go Loco with Coco' is part of a shoot for the first issue of the Redeemer magazine and date back to 1992. The second, a series of vampire related images also date back to 1992 and were also shot for the first issue of the Redeemer magazine. These include a shot of two women covered in blood which later used by Cradle of Filth on the cover of their album The Principal of Evil Made Flesh. The final set were part of a series of images Wingrove created for Skin Two magazine in 1986/7 and mix original x-rays with flesh and bones.

As a point of interest issue 1 of The Redeemer magazine was ground breaking in many ways as it both proceeded the launch of Redemption films by some eight months and broke the ground for the type of European films that followed. It is also the first time that blood imagery and fashion/erotica were ever used commercially. Now common place, the portrayal of blood drenched women in the Redeemer was both shocking and truly innovative and these cards are a record of that.
