Description

The Marquis de Sade’s name gave the world the word sadism: the love of inflicting pain while deriving sexual pleasure from the act. The publication of Justine led to de Sade being imprisoned for the last 13 years of his life after Napoleon Bonaparte described it as the “most abominable book ever engendered by the most depraved imagination…

This film version, previously heavily censored, is released here completely uncut and in all its dubious glory. Justine tells the tale of two beautiful sisters; Juliette, an amoral nymphomaniac, and Justine, who seeks a life of chastity and virtue. Unfortunately Justine suffers constant constant despair and abuse, including rape and torture while her depraved sister finds nothing but success and happiness.
