Jess Franco’s insane re-imagining of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein story, is, even by Franco standards, bonkers, resplendent as it is with a silver painted body builder as the monster, actor Dennis Price as Frankenstein and a blind bird woman in green feathers and talons played with gusto by Anne Libert. Yet for all its madness this is also a true masterpiece of Franco cinema with amazingly strong visuals and a real energy. A true must see, must have!
