In a welcome sign of Rollin’s widening popularity, CRX, an LA-based band formed in 2016 by Stokes’ lead-guitarist Nick Valensi, have cited Jean Rollin’s vampire films as inspiration for the video released to promote their new single ‘Get Close’ and their album ‘Peek’ out on August 23rd.
The video was shot in New Orleans and directed by Kansas Bowling and premiered on FLAUNT.com the website for the very trendy fashion and culture Flaunt magazine. The video and the song are actually pretty good and yes, it does have a Rollin vibe going on. Watch it HERE
